SEVERI MARIA ANGELA – CESENA (FC)
Angela Severi was born in Cesena, city where currently she resides and it develops her artistic activity. Attracted particularly by the figurative art and by the sketch, she has begun since child to practice this her passion, painting on cloth, silk, skin and different materials, since to reach in these last years notable results and coming so to that precious decoration, asked today from collectors and more refined art gallery.
She has prepared with success important personal shows in Italy and she have in program a great and more complete review in New York introduced by the journalist and critic George N. Flower, which, in a precedent presentation says besides:

“… we know for some that Angela Severi is a great idealist, and we can deduce that she will know how to walk on the correct platform to go far, what, that will be the criticisms and the obstacles that will come upon him on her walk…”

A show devoted to the two towers
BAGNO DI ROMAGNA – “- “Reflections on silk” it is the title of the show that Maria Angela Severe has in raced to the Logetta Lippi in Bagno di Romagna up to October 14 th 2001 with schedule from Monday to Thursday from 5 pm to 7pm; from Friday to Sunday from 5 pm to 7 and from 9pm to 11pm. The show is devoted to the twin towers demolished by the terrorists. Angela Severi was born in Cesena, city where currently she resides and it develops the artistic activity. She paints on cloth, thirst, skin and different materials with the patience of a Carthusian monk and the ability of an engraver. Its artistic discourse draws subjects from the world of the nature, flowers, wild thistles, butterflies birds, swans, jellyfishes, pinnacles and a horse, the only painted mammal: her Red Manuel thoroughbred seven year-old English trotter, azzopato on the altar of the gallop, when by now it was difficult to change her specialty. She uses techniques to artistic high-level sharpened in the twenty years of painter career as the takisme, a technique French that uses wet silk and brim and painting from the very pleasant effects. Its jobs exposed Lippi to the loggetta have been for Bagno di Romagna an absolute novelty and you/they have immediately deserved the appreciation of the visitors. We cannot said, in fact, that in Maria Angela there isn’t “cloth” of an affirmed artist.
